A very beautiful guesthouse with a stylish ambiance, which is, of course, in the eye of the beholder. Built in 1924, the renovation has been a complete success. There are two terraces, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor, as well as two bathrooms, each with a shower and toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped. Sleeping accommodations include a queen-size bed and a single bed. Outside, there is a separate room with a washing machine and dryer. An iron and ironing board are also available. It was an all-round successful stay, and I would recommend Fotini's House without hesitation. In addition, Zacharias is a fantastic host and left nothing to be desired.

Very nice accommodation, everything you need. Two bathrooms, a kitchen, and several outdoor seating areas. Very attentive host, always available, and very nice neighbors, all very friendly. We felt very comfortable.

The two of us stayed at Maibei Zacharias in FotinisHouse for a week. The house is equipped with everything we need. From coffee machines to dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, towels, bed linen, many different kitchen appliances, air conditioning on both floors, parking space in front of the house etc… We immediately felt comfortable and enjoyed our time away from tourism. To get to the house you definitely need a rental car, also to go on excursions, which are highly recommended in the area. Beautiful beaches or the town of Matala are very easy to reach. The apartment is in immaculate condition, is super clean and Zacharias is always available and a courteous host. When we arrived on a holiday the fridge was even full. We recommend looking no further and booking. I booked through Zacharias' homepage and it was completely uncomplicated and recommended.

Stunning house, nicely furnished with a lot of attention to the details. Spotless clean. There is a washing machine in case you need and the kitchen is equipped with all you might need for cooking and living (including coffee, oil, sugar and some water). Zacharias is a wonderful host. Definitely the perfect spot to spend some days in the area with the warmest hospitality.

In one sentence: Fotini’s House was PERFECT for us, and Zacharias was a wonderful host in many ways. Rating: 10 out of 5 :) Let me be more specific: Do your geography: this is SOUTH Crete. We were happy with this since we visited north before. House is inland, in small and quiet Crete village, with mainly locals… however, only 10 minutes' drive from the house there are many lovely beaches. House is only 60 minutes' drive from Heraklion airport, which was very convenient. House is as beautiful as it looks on the photos, and it is even bigger than what photos show [since there are some utility rooms / laundry rooms that you can use but are not shown on photos]. House has two full bathrooms, which was so great to have. 100 years old house was renovated / refurbished with so much taste and love and care, that we felt wonderful during every second of our stay. House is in a quiet neighborhood, so you will sleep well, and there won't be many [any :) ] people passing by while you are relaxing on any of the porches. Kitchen has everything you might need in it. Zacharias was a wonderful host in many ways: he welcomed us in person, he provided water, fruits, bread, and breakfast essentials for us, so that we can use the house without worrying about supplies immediately. He allowed us to stay longer on our last day, since he had no new guests coming on that day. He printed for us boarding passes for our flight. He came to say goodbye to us and gave us some goodbye gifts his family produces. All in all, this was wonderful experience for us. Experience of serenity, luxury, quiet countryside relaxed vacation. We feel so happy that this listing came up while we were searching for accommodation.
